I just got the link from my good friend Julie Broders at the Westin Galleria of a short video they made with me. They had asked a few of their favorite vendors to help with a new promotion of their fabulous property. It was really kind of them to include me, and I must say it turned out really well. I mean I'm pretty good behind the camera, but in front of it's another story :)

If you need suggestions outside of photography (where you'll be voting for Noah Wolf Photography of course :) just let me know. Here's the link:

A couple of readers have asked for more details of the vendors when I post. So, in the name of good customer service, I'll do my best :) And thanks for the suggestion.

Pazzobello Flowers - The "floral" arrangements contained no flowers and were inspired by the theme of "fireworks". Pretty dang cool.

You'd never guess that a woman who handles the finances of a major online university would be so incredible creative. Amy put together an absolutely stunning presentation for her guests. And not only for the reception, but the room at the Westin where the rehearsal dinner was held was drop-dead gorgeous. To top it off, each guest received a personalized gift.
And let's not forget about our terrific groom Kevin. I'm not sure if I've ever seen him wear anything but a great big genuine smile. For anyone looking for a family physician that you can feel very comfortable with, let me know 'cuz this guy is like a dream come true.
Even with the chaos that came the week of the wedding, like a broken water pipe that flooded Amy's basement and a hail storm that wasn't too friendly to one of their cars, Kevin and Amy seemed to truly enjoy every moment of their day.

I made my first TV appearance a few days ago! Well, my first since I was on public TV in the fourth grade when I did a mock news commentary on JFK. I had chapped lips and kept licking them, so I looked like a big dork....but my hair looked good, so I had that going for me :)
Twin Cities Live on KSTP Channel 5 did a piece on me, then had me as guest on the show for a brief interview. Click here to take a peek at the segment.
And let me just yell out a huge thanks to all my clients - THANK YOU!! It's because of you that Twin Cities Live wanted to feature me on their program. I am most grateful.

When I met Tom at Amy and Kevin's wedding less than two weeks ago, I had no idea that I would be photographing his wedding yesterday! Tom and his partner Kelly have been together for 10 years and have discussed the idea of getting married more than once. After listening to the speech that Kevin gave to his new wife, family and friends (which was wonderful and the whole room in tears), Tom whispered to Kelly, "We need to do this."
Three days later, Tom emails me saying they were headed to San Francisco in one week to get married on the first full day when same-sex marriages would become legal (some counties allowed couples to get married at 5:01P.M. the evening before), and was wondering if I could help them find a photographer in San Francisco. I was thrilled and said absolutely! After getting some details, I looked at my schedule and thought "wait a second! maybe they'd allow ME to photograph their wedding!" I had never photographed a same-sex wedding, and being a part of history in the making was a very exciting thought. Low and behold, Tom was said they'd be happy to have me document their day.
It was a 24 whirlwind of a trip. I took the red-eye to CA on Monday night, hung out and photographed Tom and Kelly all morning, had lunch with them and their witnesses, Lisa and Holly, in Salcilito, then went back to downtown San Francisco, found a coffee shop and sat there for a few hours to edit and process images to send to the Star Tribune who was running a story about their wedding for the next day's paper. We all met back for dinner at a killer restaurant called Destino, then headed to airport around 10P.M. for the red-eye back to Minneapolis this morning.
I want to tell you all about the wedding, but I see this is getting lengthy, so check out Tom and Kelly's blog to learn about it from the newlyweds themselves. Also check out Pam Louwagie's story in today's Star Tribune.
Check out this clip of the ceremony from a San Francisco news program.
