I'll miss the dining room...
Yes friends, we're moving the table and chairs back into the camera room, eh, I mean the dining room.
..holy crap, a sweet Dolly Parton song just started on 89.3 Turn it up!
I'm back. Dang, out of my chair and everything. I double dog dare you to check out Dolly's "Joshua" on iTunes and see what it does to you.
Sorry, back to the dining room. Kerry and I just leased a new studio space for our portrait photography. We're pretty exicted. More information to follow for sure. For now, I'd like to dedicate this recent family portrait to the many good times had in that room....
See that bit of light on the left? Damn stained glass window.... if I had a nickel for how many times that's been retouched out.

Elizabeth is a year old, and man what a cutie! We had a great session playing at home then it was off to the park for her first ever experience on a beach. What a really fun thing to sit back and watch. True discovery in action.

Julia
Julia just had her 1st birthday celebration this past Saturday. Happy birthday Julia! I've had the priledge of photographing this cutie since she was born - 4 or 5 times now I think. Man, one minute she's a newborn, then bam! a year has gone by.
On Friday morning, I got up early, went out to the front porch and sipped on some coffee to watch the grass grow. While listening to the Current radio station with my new fancy-pants wireless headphones, I heard the DJ say that her dad Mike called in with a 1st birthday request for Julia. It was a great song called "Turn Around" by sung by Nanci Griffith. A sweet song for a sweet little girl.

Expecting their first
We had the opportunity to photograph Craig and Jennifer's wedding a couple years ago, and now guess what?? Jennifer was about 36 weeks pregnant when these were taken not so long ago. And actually, I got a wonderful surprise when I met them to show the portraits the other day - little Isabelle Elizabeth was in the house!
Congrats you guys and I'm so glad we were able to make these very special portraits for you.
