This was the first time I photographed at the Outing Lodge near Stillwater, MN. What was once the "poor house" is now a lovely country get-away. You take a drive out in the country, turn onto this great driveway, climb a small hill and there sits a great old two story brick inn.
Julia is a Minnesota girl turned New Yorker. A few years ago, she moved there to become a doctor and in doing so, met a great guy named Joe; a good Russian boy also studying medicine. Now the two live in Brooklyn and work at a nearby hospital. Check this out though - right now, they are on a boat in South America floating down almost the entire length of the Amazon river! It's a three week journey. They better be making photographs 'cuz I have to see that!
